  MERRINGER
  
    Leona M. Merringer, 58, Stoystown RD 1, died Sept. 5, 1982, at
  home.  Born March 23, 1924, in Hoy, W. Va.; daughter of Erasmus and
  Polly (Ritchie) Dove.  Preceded in death by parents, four sisters and
  five brothers.  Survived by husband, Clark B., and these  children:
  David C., married to the former Suzanne Koontz, Somerset RD 6; Dennis
  D., married to former Elaine Shaffer, Boswell; Mickey R., U.S. Navy,
  Pearl Harbor, Hawaii; three grandchildren, Jason, Jill and Brett
  Merringer.  Sister of Lillie Charlton, Stoystown RD 1.  Member of and
  past Noble Grand of Wimodausis Rebekah, Lodge No. 217, Somerset. 
  Observed 39th wedding anniversary Oct. 15, 1981.  Friends were
  received Monday evening and will be received for 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main St., Boswell.  Body
  will be transferred to the Boswell Church of God for viewing from 10
  a.m. Wednesday until time of service at 11 a.m., the Rev. Samuel
  Charlton and Lloyd A. McCollum officiating.  Interment, I.O.O.F.
  Cemetery, Stoystown.  Rebekah service at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
