  MESSENGER
  
  Edith M. Messenger, 81, of Somerset RD 8, died Oct. 31, 1980,
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born March 16, 1899, in Grafton, W.Va.,
  daughter of the late Peter and Carrie (Boylyner) Gank.  She was
  preceded in death by her husband Virgil.  Survived by these children:
  Donald of Somerset; Francis of Charleston, W.Va.; Joseph of Panama
  City, Fla.; a step-son Woodrow of Charleston, W.Va.; 8 grandchildren
  and 5 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Walter Gank, Grafton, W.Va.;
  Clarence of Newburg, W.Va.; and Leonard of Lakeland, Fla.  Friends
  will be received at Fike-Watson Funeral Home, Terra Alta, W.Va. 
  Services Sunday 2 p.m., with the Rev. W.C. Dunson officiating. 
  Interment, Terra Alta Cemetery.
