  MESSINA
  
    Violetta Veatrice Messina, Somerset, died April 6, 1998 at
  Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born in Berlin,
  daughter of Oliver Milton and Cleo (Weigle) Sarver.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Joseph Messina, who died June 7, 1973, 5
  brothers: Russell, Melvin, Dalton, Clyde and Lloyd Sarver.  Survived
  by children, Ms. Connie Lee Pritts of Greensburg; Joseph W. Messina
  of Gaithersburg, Md.; grandsons, Jeffrey L. Pritts, Somerset; Scott
  A. Messina and Steven A. Messina both of Sterling, Va.; also 2 great
  grandchildren: Tony M. and Ashley N. Messina.  Sister of: Mrs.
  Rozella Shumaker, Florida; Milton Sarver, Pittsburgh; Mrs. William
  (Beulah) Mapes Jr., Somerset; Donald Sarver, Baden, Pa.  Member of
  Trinity Lutheran Church.  Private service will be held Wednesday at
  Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert L. Hoover Jr.
  officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. 
  Contributions to Children's Hospital, 3705 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh,
  Pa.
