  METHENEY
  
    Anna E. Metheney, 84, of Confluence died July 19, 2000 at Conemaugh
  Valley Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 31, 1915 in
  Ohiopyle.  A daughter of Sylvester and Mary Edna (Ruby) Skinner. 
  Preceded in death by parents, grandson Shawn Charlesworth and
  brothers Marvin, Earl, Edward and Kenneth.  She is survived by her
  husband Alvin, a daughter Velda Charlesworth of Confluence and sons
  Roger of Confluence and Regis of Sullivan, Ohio; nine grandchildren,
  nine great-grandchildren, a brother Jay Skinner of Confluence and
  sisters Thelma McCarty of Janesville, Wis., Margaret McCarty of
  Markleysburg, Ruth Craven of Dorris, Calif., Ada Beggs of Midland,
  Texas, Janet Metheney of West Salem, Ohio and Bonnie Wilt of
  Grantsville, Md.  She was a retired employee of Suder's Soft Freeze
  in Confluence.  Friends will be received from 2-9 p.m. today (Friday)
  at Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence where services will be held
  Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ronald Thomas officiating. 
  Interment Jersey Cemetery.
