  METHENEY
  
    Freda E. Metheney, 80, of Markleton RD 1 died Feb. 10, 1996, at
  Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born Aug. 15, 1915, in Upper Turkeyfoot
  Township.  Daughter of the late Samuel and Martha Jane (Firestone)
  King.  Preceded in death by husband, James; a son, Raymond; great
  grandson, Jason Tressler; four sisters and three brothers.  She is
  survived by two daughters: Mildred Tressler, Markleton, and Nancy
  Marker, Garrett; a son, Donald Metheney of Garrett; seven
  grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two
  great-great-grandchildren.  Also four sisters: Alice Miller,
  Somerset; Mary Trimpey, Markleton; Olive Woods, Confluence, and Betty
  Baker, Markleton, and two brothers: James King of Durham, N.C., and
  Warren King of Markleton.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m.
  Wednesday and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Humbert Funeral Home,
  Confluence, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Rev. James
  Monticue and Rev. Douglas Baker officiating.  Interment, Kingwood
  IOOF Cemetery.
