  JAMES R. METHENEY
  
    James R. Metheney, 69, Markleton RD 1, died Dec. 26, 1981.
    He was born July 8, 1912, in Ohiopyle, son of Charles and Bertha
  (Mitchell) Metheney.  He is survived by his wife, the former Freda
  King; two sons: Raymond of Markleton; and Donald of Garrett; two
  daughters: Mrs. Mildred Tressler of Markleton; and Mrs. Nancy Marker
  of Garrett; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one sister,
  Mrs. Mildred Woods of Ursina; and three brothers: Alvin and Ralph,
  both of Confluence; and George of Ursina.  He was a member of the New
  Centerville Volunteer Fire Department.
    Friends were received at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence,
  where funeral services were held with the Rev. Paul Tobias and pastor
  Douglas Baker officiating.  Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
