  METHENEY, Marlene Dorothy  12/09/07   Daily American
  
    Marlene Dorothy Metheney, 64, Garrett, and formerly of Confluence, died Dec. 7, 2007,
  at Meyersdale Medical Center. Born October 26, 1943, in  Confluence, the daughter of
  the  late Willis E. and Audrey Jean (Ohler) Harbaugh. Mrs. Metheney was a lifelong
  caregiver. She was a Second Lieutenant in the Civil Air Patrol, Squadron 1300 and was a
  Protestant. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. If anyone was lost in
  Confluence, they were always welcomed in her  home. Surviving are her husband,  Roger D.
  Metheney, Sr.; five sons, Roger D. Jr. and his fiancˇe, Deanne Valentine, Hanover,
  Mass.;  Richard D. and fiancˇe, Joanne Akins, Salisbury; Robert D. and wife,  Kathy,
  Berlin; David M.; and  Matthew K. and fiancˇe, Brandy  Rugg, both of Garrett; one
  "adopted" daughter whom she raised, Cassie  Carolselli, Cleveland; three brothers, 
  Willis Harbaugh Jr., Fort Hill; Ben and Robert Harbaugh, both of Confluence; three
  sisters, Marjorie Younkin, Confluence;  Faye Jean Jenkins, Markleysburg;  Dora Ruth
  Haines, Farmington; and eight grandchildren, Zack, Zeke, Jesse, Richard II, Harry,
  Jasmine, Misty and Casey.  Also survived by former daughters- in-law, Kim (Glover)
  Metheney and Elizabeth (Ickes) Metheney. Friends will be received from 2 to 4  and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday and 2 to 4  and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168
  Mason-Dixon  Highway, Salisbury, where a service will be conducted 12 p.m. Wednesday.
