  METHENEY
  
    Raymond C. Metheney, 57, Markleton RD 1, died Nov. 23, 1989, in Van
  Zandt VA Medical Center, Altoona.  Born Sept. 9. 1932, in Upper
  Turkeyfoot Township, son of Freda (King) of Markleton, and the late
  James R. Metheney.  Also surviving are a daughter, Denise Weimer,
  Galesburg, Ill.; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mildred Tressler,
  Markleton, and Nancy Marker, Garrett; and a brother, Donald,
  Garrett.  Member of Old Bethel Church of God.  Veteran of Korean
  War.  Life member of Confluence V.F.W. Post 7250.  Life member of
  Ursina American Legion Post 946.  Life member of Connellsville
  Disabled Veterans Post 26.  Member of Christian Businessmen of
  Meyersdale and the New Centerville Volunteer Fire Department. 
  Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday at Humbert Funeral
  Home, Confluence, where service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Rev.
  James Monticue officiating.  Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
