  PAULINE E. METZ
  
    Pauline E. Metz, 85, of Meyersdale, died May 22, 1981, in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.
    She was born March 9, 1896, in Meyersdale, a daughter of the late
  William B. and Mary Elizabeth (Baer) Grof.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, William T.
    She is survived by her sister-in-law, Mrs. Nell Grof of Meyersdale;
  a niece, Mrs. Elizabeth Warner of Fort Hill; and a nephew, Fred Grof
  of Meyersdale.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church,
  Meyersdale; a graduate of California State Teachers College; a
  retired school teacher, she had taught in the Meyersdale, Addison and
  Salisbury schools.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson officiating. 
  Interment, Union Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, make contributions to
  the Meyersdale Public Library.
