  ROBERT O. METZGAR
  
    Robert O. Metzgar Sr., 59, Rockwood RD 1, died Nov. 11, 1982, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.
    He was born Oct. 21, 1923, in Stoystown, a son of Lena (Denning)
  Metzgar, Stoystown, and the late Charles Metzgar.
    He is survived by sons: Joseph, Rockwood; Robert Jr., at home;
  Scott, Gary and Robert W., all of New York; stepsons: Harry, Kenneth
  and Gerald Gerhardt; and 10 grandchildren.
    He was a brother of: Mrs. Wanda Harned, Holliday, Fla.; Mrs. Donald
  (Marjorie) Davis, Somerset; and Jack M. Stoystown.
    He was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Stoystown;
  WW II Navy veteran; member of Confluence VFW, Turkeyfoot Fish and
  Game Club, and BPOE, Milton.
    Friends were received at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. Jeffrey A. Welsh officiating. 
  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
