  REV. ROSS METZLER
  
    The Rev. Ross D. Metzler, 71, Bedford RD 6, died Nov. 22, 1984 at
  Bedford County Memorial Hospital.
    He was born Feb. 22, 1913, in Kinzer, son of late Abram and Susan
  (Delinger) Metzler.
    He was preceded in death by infant daughter and a sister.  He is
  survived by widow, former Margaret Blough, and these children: Ralph,
  Bedford; Marvin, Claysburg; and Jay, Avonelle Peachy, Elmer, David and
  James, all of Belleville; Jane Lehman, Castorland, N.Y.; Ruth Kuhns,
  Chambersburg; Rhoda Yoder, Salisbury; and Shirley Yoder, Manassas,
  Va.; also 33 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Brother of
  Mark, Palmyra; Ted, Las Vegas, Nev.; and Alta Mosemann, Richland
  Center, Wis.
    He was pastor of five Mennonite churches in Pennsylvania and was a
  well-known evangelist and Bible teacher for many years.  He was
  involved with Allegheny Conference work.
    Friends were received at Timothy A. Berkebile Funeral Home,
  Bedford, the Rev. Curtis E. Bryant, officiating, and on Sunday at 2
  p.m. at Allensville Mennonite Church, the Revs. Timothy Peachy and
  Erie Renno, officiating.  Burial, Pleasantview Cemetery, Mattawana.
