Born in Antioch, Ohio, he was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Joyce B. Meyer; a daughter, Sandra Peteranecz, Frederick, Md.; and a son, Richard B. Meyer, Alexandria, Va.; also five grandchildren. A brother of John Meyer, Somerset. He served with the U.S. Army for 31 years, serving in W.W.II and overseas in Jerusalem and Africa. He also was retired from the Federal Reserve Board System and was currently serving as a consultant to the system. He was an active member of the Clinton Presbyterian Church in the choir and men's group. Funeral services will be held Friday at 12:30 p.m. in the Clinton Presbyterian Church, 9901 Brandywine Rd., Clinton. Interment Maryland Veteran's Cemetery, Cheltenham, Md.
