  MEYER
  
    Josephine Bernice Meyer, 83, of Somerset died June 19, 2001 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born Nov. 14, 1917 in Hollsopple.  Daughter of
  Harley Abraham and Olive Marie (Kring) Spangler.  Preceded in death
  by parents, brothers, Richard, Frederick and Jack Spangler, and
  sisters, Margaret Meyers and Nancy Spangler.  Survived by children:
  Charles Richard Walker, married to the former LaVerne G. Roth of
  Dundalk, Md; Fred J. Walker, married to the former Carol Holladay of
  Somerset; grandchildren, LaVerne W. Walker of Essex, Md., Charles R.
  Walker of Towson, Md.; George R. Walker of Dundalk, Md.; Michael
  Walker of Dundalk, Md.; C. Allen Walker of Lake Hopatcong, N.J., and
  R. Dale Walker of Freedom, and great-grandchildren, Sarah, Leah,
  David, Nicole, Kimberly, Amanda, Christopher, Joshua, and Steven
  Walker.  Also sisters-in-law Jean Spangler of Somerset and Florence
  Spangler of Clovis, N.M., and brother-in-law Harry "Bud" Meyers,
  Somerset.  Attended Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville.  Employed
  by Southern Technical Institute of Marietta, Ga., retiring in 1982. 
  Volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  Friends will be received 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where
  service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Jacquelyn M.
  DePhillips officiating.  Interment, Kaufman Cemetery.  Contributions
  may be made to Meals on Wheels, 235 West Church St., Somerset, Pa.
