    Alma L. Meyers, 88 of Chesapeake Beach, MD, formerly of Meyersdale, died September 26,
  2006 at the Calvert County Nursing Center, Prince Frederick, MD.  Born March 9, 1918 in
  Larimer Twp., a daughter of the late William Howard and Elizabeth (Suder) Mazer. Preceded
  in death by a grandson, Stephan Godlewski; four brothers: Howard, Ralph, William Kenneth,
  and Merle; and sisters: Margaret Mazer, Mary (Mazer) Long, and Ruth (Mazer) Kinsinger.
    She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Bruce A Meyers, Hollidaysburg; three
  daughters: Joyce E. Nalley, Chesapeake Beach; Lois A. Godlewski, Donora; and Cindy E.
  Thigpen, Claxton, GA. Also survived by these grandchildren: Michael Nalley, David and
  Joseph Godlewski, James, Patrick, Thomas, and Julie Thigpen. Also survived by three
  sisters: Dorothy Forman, Zona Boger, both of Meyersdale; and Edith Barmoy, Cumberland,
  MD, and brother, Homer Mazer, State College. 
   Member of Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church. She was a member of Charles E. Kelly American
  Legion Auxiliary, Meyersdale.
    Friends were received at the M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7
  to 9 p.m. Meyersdale, PA. Funeral service Saturday September 30, 2006 at Mt. Carmel
  Lutheran Church (White Oak) with Pastor Glenn Foster officiating. Interment White Oak
  Cemetery. Under the direction of M. Ray Leckemby Funeral Home.

   Alma L. Meyers, 88, Chesapeake Beach, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died Sept. 26, 2006,
  in Calvert County Nursing Center, Prince Frederick, Md. Born March 9, 1918, in Larimer
  Township, she is a daughter of the late William Howard and Elizabeth (Suder) Mazer. In
  addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen Godlewski; four
  brothers, Howard, Ralph, William Kenneth and Merle; and three sisters, Margaret Mazer,
  Mary (Mazer) Long and Ruth (Mazer) Kinsinger. Survivors include her husband of 69 years,
  Bruce A. Meyers, Hollidaysburg; three daughters, Joyce E. Nalley, Chesapeake Beach; Lois
  A. Godlewski, Donora; and Cindy E. Thigpen, Claxton, Ga.; her grandchildren, Michael
  Nalley; David and Joseph Godlewski; and James, Patrick, Thomas and Julia Thigpen; three
  sisters, Dorothy Forman and Zona Boger, both of Meyersdale, and Edith Barmoy, Cumberland,
  Md.; and a brother, Homer Mazer, State College. Mrs. Meyers was a member of Mount Carmel
  Lutheran Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the M.
  Ray Leckemby Funeral Home, Meyersdale. She will be taken to Mount Carmel Lutheran Church,
  White Oak, at 10 a.m., where she will lie in state until 11 a.m., the hour of service. The
  Rev. Glenn Foster officiating. Interment will be in White Oak Cemetery.
