ARTER A. MEYERS

  Arter A. Meyers, aged 55, of 144 Carnegie Avenue, Wilson, Pa., a suburb of 
McKeesport, died in a Pittsburgh hospital on March 25, 1940, from injuries 
received in a fall.  He was born on August 5, 1885, in West Newton, Pa.
  Survivors of the deceased include his wife, Mrs. Etta (Stahl) Meyers and the 
following children: Mrs. Charles Petty and Mrs. Andrew Riley, both of 
McKeesport, and Jack, at home.  A grandchild also survives.
  Mr. Meyers was well known in Meyersdale, his wife being the daughter of Mrs. 
Harvey Stahl of East Main Street.
  Funeral services were held at the Earl Berkey Funeral Home in McKeesport on 
March 27th, 1940, at 2:30 p.m., in charge of the Rev. R. R. Scott.  Interment in 
the Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport.
