BERTHA EDITH MEYERS

  Mrs. Bertha Edith (Baughman) Meyers, wife of Edgar B. Meyers, died early 
Friday morning, Nov. 30, at her home, Sand Patch, R.D. 1.  She was 44 years of 
age.  Born in Larimer Twp., on January 20, 1901, Mrs. Meyers was a daughter of 
the late Levi Baughman and Mrs. Mary (Arnold) Baughman.  Surviving are her 
husband and mother and these children: Carl of Meyersdale, and James, Edgar, 
Jr., Thomas and Leona, all at home.  She also leaves one brother, Lewis Baughman 
of Meyersdale, and four sisters - Mrs. Nora Owens, Hagerstown, Md.; Mrs. Louise 
Merryfield, Auburn, Ind.; Mrs. Martha Meyers, Rockwood, and Mrs. Mayme Deist, 
Meyersdale.  Mrs. Meyers was a member of the Hostetler Church of the Brethren.  
The funeral cortege left the home at 1 p.m., Sunday for Rockwood, where services 
were conducted in the Rockwood Church of the Brethren at 2:30 p.m., by Rev. John 
E. Jones, pastor of the Hostetler Church.  Interment in Odd Fellows Cemetery at 
Rockwood under the direction of H. R. Konhaus, Meyersdale mortician.
