Meyers, 73, of Acosta, died April 21, 1973, in Scenery Hill Nursing Home, Indiana. Born April 13, 1900, in Friendsville, Md., he was a son of the late George W. and Mary B. (Thomas) Meyers. He was preceded in death by his first wife, the former Helen Hostetler; and by his second wife, the former Alma Nicklow; also by one sister and two brothers. Surviving are these children, Mrs. Michael (Jean) Mehalic, Loyalhanna; Mrs. John (Mary Lou) Gowarty, Columbia; Mrs. David (Betty) Ash, Jennerstown; Mrs. Roland (Ada) Brobst, Allentown; and 17 grandchildren; also two sisters, Mrs. Lloyd Younkin, Ursina, and Mrs. Gilbert Kreger, Confluence RD 3. He was a member of UMWA, American Legion, Jenners Rod and Gun Club and FOE. Funeral service was conducted Tuesday morning in Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home, Somerset, with Rev.
