  Rev. Earl E. MEYERS 
  
    The Rev. Earl E. Meyers, 71, Meyersdale RD 3, died Sept. 12, 1983,
  at his home.
    He was born April 10, 1912, a son of the late Charles F. and Annie
  E. (Platter) Meyers.  Also preceded in death by an infant daughter,
  Thelma Jane.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Dorothy L. Felton; and these
  children: Glenn R., Somerset; Sandra L. Henry, Allen Park, Mich.;
  Carol A. Werner, Meyersdale RD 3; and Earl E. Jr., Fairmont City,
  Pa.; also 14 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
    He was a brother of Ira, Somerset.  He served as a minister for 26
  years, serving the following charges: Casselman, Meyersdale,
  Oakridge, and Bellwood; Dawson Church and Fairview Avenue Church.  He
  preached first in the Evangelical United Brethren Church and after a
  merger of the two denominations preached in the Methodist Church.
    Friends were received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Price
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted at 11 a.m.
  Thursday, with the Rev. Donald Krestar officiating.  Interment,
  Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
