  MEYERS
  
  Mrs. Edith L. Meyers, 87, of Meyersdale died July 2, 1979 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born June 9, 1892 in Brothersvalley
  Township, a daughter of the late John and Barbara Ann (Hauger)
  Long.  Preceded in death by husband, Norman Peter, five brothers and
  three sisters.  Survived by a sister, Mrs. Verda Brant of Garrett;
  also a number of nieces, nephews and step-children.  Member of the
  Church of the Brethren, Meyersdale.  Friends are being received at
  the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where services will be conducted
  at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. John Manges officiating.  Interment,
  Union Cemetery.
