  MEYERS
  
  Effie Ellen Meyers, 72, of South Park Ave., Somerset, died March 28,
  1978 in the Somerset Community Hospital.  Born July 16, 1905 in
  Windber, a daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Shaffer) Carlsen. 
  Preceded in death by husband, James B., two sisters and one
  brother.  Survived by these children: Mrs. Claude (Marian) L. Brant
  of Somerset RD 8; William of Rockwood RD 1; M. Maxine Stahl of Akron,
  Ohio; Mrs. William (Janice) Smith of Somerset; also 13 grandchildren
  and eight great-grandchildren; and these brothers and sisters: Roy C.
  Carlsen of Cheswick; Walter Carlsen of Binghamton, New York; and
  Robert B. of Conklin, N.Y.  Member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's
  Witnesses in Somerset.  Friends will be received after 2 p.m.
  Wednesday in the Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home where services will
  be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday with speaker Jack Lebo
  officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
