  MEYERS
  
    Elizabeth D. "Betty" Meyers, 73, of Meyersdale, died Sept. 23,
  1996, at her home.  Born Sept. 12, 1923 in Somerset, daughter of
  Besse (Bittner) Dwire, Meyersdale, and the late James E. Dwire.  Also
  preceded in death by her husband, D. Jay Meyers.  Survived by two
  sons: Tom Meyers, Findlay, Ohio, and Fred Meyers, Meyersdale.  Five
  grandchildren: Missy Hayes, Chris Hayes, Scott Hayes, Stephen Meyers
  and Nathan Meyers; a great grandson, Alex Hayes.  Former secretary of
  the Pa. Maple Festival and former member of the Meyersdale Women's
  Club.  Served as director and secretary of Four Guys, Inc.,
  Meyersdale RD 3.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service
  will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday.  Interment, Union Cemetery,
  Meyersdale.
