Born April 25, 1932, in Milford Township, Somerset County, son of Dorothy Luella (Felton) Meyers of Meyersdale and the late Rev. Earl Elmer Meyers. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Jane Meyers. Survived by his wife, the former Kathryn Mae Osselburn, to whom he was married 44 years; children, Mrs. Kenneth W. (Pamela) Burkett, Somerset; Ronald G. Meyers, married to the former Brenda Fresh, Somerset; Mrs. Jack W. (Joyce) Burket, Rockwood; Mrs. David A. (Janice) Shaffer, Miami Beach, Fla.; Ms. Susan R. Shifflett, Rockwood; Mrs. Steven D. (Marsha) Shaulis, Somerset; Mrs. Douglas M. (Michelle) Eppley, Jennerstown; and Mrs. Denton L. (Billie Jo) Weyant, Garrett; 17 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Brother of Ms. Sandra Henry, Farmington Hills, Mich.; Earl E. Meyers Jr., Fairmont City, Pa.; and Mrs. Ronald (Carol) Werner, Meyersdale. 1950 graduate of Somerset High School. U.S. Army veteran, Korean War. Member of Milford United Methodist Church, VFW Post 8826, Salisbury; American Legion Post 181, Somerset. Former co-owner of Frank E. Cober & Sons. Operated Meyers Septic Tank Cleaning for 25 years. Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday. The Rev. Robert P. McNeel officiating.
