Meyers, 91, of Meyersdale, died April 19, 1997, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown. Born Nov. 12, 1906, in Meyersdale. A daughter of the late John F. and Mary E. (Seiler) Siegner. Also preceded in death by her first husband, Bryan Marker, and second husband, John I. Meyers; daughter, Betty Elaine Marker; two sisters: Ethel Mazda and Eleanor Yuhas; two brothers: John Siegner and Carl Siegner. Survived by her daughter: Jeanie, wife of George Pyle, Meyersdale; granddaughter, Susan Decker, and great-grandchildren: Joshua and Amanda Decker. Also survived by stepdaughter, Nancy Beamer, Meyersdale; 2 step-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren. Three brothers: Earnest Siegner, Meyersdale; Eugene Siegner, Euclid, Ohio; and Glenn Siegner, Santa Cruz, Calif.; three sisters: Verna Shellenberger, Mount Ephriam, N.J.; Elizabeth Pfeiffer, Aberdeen, Md., and Catherine Dietle, Riverton, N.J. A member of the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church, and the Pearls of Wisdom. A schoolteacher for the Greenville Township School. She retired with 43 years of service. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Randy L. Haulk officiating.
