Meyers, Rev. Jacob P.

POPULAR PASTOR DEAD, the Rev. Jacob P. Meyers, of Parkerford, Pa. died in a 
Philadelphia hospital on Friday night, following an operation for gangrene in 
one of his legs. Rev. Meyers was a native of Milford Township, a son of Tobias 
Meyers who lived on the farm now owned by Peter Koontz. He was a minister of the 
Progressive Brethren Church, a pulpit orator of much force and personality and a 
popular pastor.
