MEYERS Jacob William Meyers, aged 74 years, died early, Tuesday morning, Feb. 27, at the home of his nephew, Harry Hoover, where he had lived for the past year. He was bedfast for the last week. He was the son of the late Conrad and Margaret Durst Meyers, and was born near Jennings. His wife, who was Miss Malinda Nicklow, died about six years ago. He spent most of his life at Ursina, Pa., and was a retired lumberman. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Bittinger, Akron, O., and Mrs. Norman Hoover, and a brother, Lee Meyers, Jennings, Md. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 10 a.m., at the Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence, Pa. Rev. G. Clendenin, pastor of the Confluence Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be made in the Bethel Church Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, March 1, 1945
