    John P. Meyers, 78, Charlottesville, Va., formerly of Somerset
  County, died July 4, 1995, in Charlottesville.  Born March 15, 1917
  in Somerset County, son of the late Robert and Mary (Speicher)
  Meyers.  Preceded in death by two brothers, Harold S. and Robert L.
  Meyers.  Survived by wife, Hazel Weimer, and these children: Beverly,
  wife of Joseph Magazzu, Phoenix, Ariz.; Carol, wife of Henry Moeller,
  Charlottesville, Va.; and Judy, wife of Jerry Horner, Boswell RD 2;
  16 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.  Brother of Wilamina Reese,
  Titusville, Fla.; Marguerite Specht, Stoystown; Charlotte Pritts and
  Audrey O'Brien, both of Rockwood.  Member of United Methodist Church,
  Charlottesville.  Veteran of World War II; served in the U.S. Navy. 
  Retired grocer in Rockwood and New Lexington and also
  Charlottesville, Va.
    Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday (today) in
  Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at
  10 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Larry R. Weigle.  Interment, Somerset County
  Memorial Park.
