KENNETH MEYERS

  Kenneth Meyers, of South Connellsville, a brakeman on the B. & O. suffered a 
heart attack while on duty and fell from the train.  He was found lying 
unconscious beside the track near the Meyersdale station Saturday morning, Oct. 
5, and was removed to the Hazel McGilvery Hospital, where he died about seven 
hours later.
  Mr. Meyers was born in Rockwood, July 10, 1907, a son of Charles and Susan 
(Bittner) Meyers, formerly of Garrett.  He was aged 39 years at the time of 
death.
  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Idella Meyers.
  The body was prepared for burial at the Price Funeral Home and was transported 
to the McCormick Funeral Home in Connellsville.
  Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, in Connellsville with interment in 
Hill Grove Cemetery.
