    Mabel L. Meyers, 82, Rockwood RD 3, died Aug. 27, 1986, in
  Berlin.  She was born Nov. 8, 1903, in Black Township, a daughter of
  Albert and Araminta (Dwyre) Leaphart.  She is survived by her
  husband, Richard, Rockwood RD 3; and by numerous nieces, nephews and
  cousins.  Preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Irene Henry
  in 1963.  Her death terminates a marriage union of 42 years.  Mrs.
  Meyers was honored as Granger of the Year in 1977.  She was a
  life-long member of the Mt. Union and Casselman United Methodist
  Churches.  She helped organize the Mt. Union Cemetery Association. 
  Friends will be received in the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, from noon until 9 p.m. Friday where services will be
  conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. with her pastor, the Rev. Daryl
  Harclerode officiating.  Interment, Mt. Union Cemetery.  In lieu of
  flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers
  Foundation.  Arrangements are under the direction of William J. Wood
  Funeral HOme, Rockwood, with Francis Brady supervising.
