    Marie H. Meyers, 85, of Seward RD 2, died Jan. 21, 1997, at Lee
  Hospital in Johnstown.  Born March 20, 1911, in Acosta.  Daughter of
  William Herbert and Mary Elizabeth (Swartzwelder) Hyatt.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Ralph M., who died in 1968, and these
  brothers: Gilbert, Clinton and Clifford Dale.  Survived by daughter,
  Judith Ann, married to Clifford J. Visalli Jr., with whom Marie
  resided; sisters: Alda "Peg," wife of Robert Miller, of Johnstown;
  Mildred Shank, St. Petersburg, Fla; special friends: Mr. and Mrs.
  Clifford Visalli Sr.; and close companion, Katherine Hixson.  Member
  of Seward United Methodist Church and the Golden Rule Sunday School
  Class, the Golden Age Club of Seward, Laurel Valley Senior Citizens
  of New Florence, the United Area Senior Citizens of Armagh.  Former
  seamstress.  Retired from the Somerset Shirt and Pajama Co. and the
  Meyersdale Manufacturing Co.  Firends will be received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Jon A.
  Meese Funeral Home, Seward.  Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday at the Seward United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David
  Bowman officiating.  Interment, Grandview Cemetery.  Donations in
  Marie's memory may be made to the Seward United Methodist Church.
