NANCY JANE FIKE MEYERS

  Mrs. Nancy Jane Fike Meyers, aged 74, wife of William F. Meyers, of near 
Friendsville, died recently of infirmities of old age.  Besides her aged husband 
she is survived by three sons, Elijah F., of Farmington, Pa.; Orville, of Asher 
Glade; Ami, of parts unknown; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Frantz, of 
Friendsville, and Mrs. Bertha Friend, on the home farm; also by seven brothers, 
Jacob Abraham, Franklin T., William Marshall and George Fike, all of near Asher 
Glade; Charles A. Fike, Braddock, Pa.; Otho S. Fike, Avilton; Samuel K. Fike, of 
Piedmont, W.Va.; and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Vansickle, of Markleysburg, Pa., 
and 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
  Rev. Wolf, of Uniontown, Pa., officiated at the funeral, assisted by Rev. 
George Vansickle, of Hazelton, W.Va.  The funeral services were conducted in the 
Brethren Church of which she was a member for many years.  Interment was in the 
Sand Spring Cemetery.  Six grandsons acted as pallbearers.
