    Norman Peter Meyers, 88, Meyersdale, died June 14 in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.
    Born March 5, 1879, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late William
  P. and Sarah (Maust) Meyers.
    He was a retired farmer and director of the Second National Bank,
  Meyersdale, and was a life long member of the Church of the Brethren,
  Meyersdale.  His first wife, the former Gertrude Newman, preceded him
  in death.
    Surviving are his second wife, the former Edith Long; and these
  children: William K., Meyersdale; Mrs. John Hershberger, Grantsville;
  and Mrs. Thomas McKee, Baltimore; also six grandchildren.
    He was a brother of Mrs. Ada Lorentz, Mrs. Orpha Meyers, Albert,
  Harry and John Meyers, all of Meyersdale; and Mrs. John Fogle,
  Chicago.
    Funeral service was held at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on
  Saturday afternoon, with Rev. Donald Hursh officiating.  Interment
  was made in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
