Meyers, 49, Old Lincoln Highway, Stoystown, died Jan. 25, 2002 at home. Born Oct. 7, 1952 in Somerset, son of Carl and Ruby (Eash) Meyers. Preceded in death by parents, nephew Teddy Abramowich and brother-in-law Joseph Sirianni. Survived by these children: Melanie, married to Ken Henninger of Johnstown, Travis of Somerset, and Tucker of Berlin. Granddaughters: Ann Marie, Kathryn, and Ruby Henninger. Brother of Virginia Sirianni of Harrisburg, Carol married to Ted Abramowich of Stoystown, Linda married to John Adams of Hooversville, and John married to the former Michele Martyak of Jefferson. Also numerous nieces and nephews. He was a 1970 graduate of the former Forbes High School, and former employee of PBS Coals. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church, National Audubon Society, National Rifle Association, and charter member of the Stoystown Area Historical Society. He was a former North Star School Board member and was active with several sports in the North Star area. He was also a "spotter" for the Berlin High School Football Team. Family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Rev. Don Kephart officiating. Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown. Memorial contributions may be given to Somerset Dialysis Center, 229 S.
