  Robert C. "Junior" Meyers, 79, of Plank Road, Stoystown, died March
  18, 2003 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Feb. 10, 1924 in Wilbur son of
  Robert and Anna (Arrich) Meyers.  Preceded in death by parents and
  brother Wilbert "Bud."  Survived by his wife of 57 years the former
  Helene Mahunik, daughters: Saundra married to Edward Metzler of
  Portland, Ore., and Lisa married to Stephen Cozart of Columbus, Ohio,
  and grandchildren: Benjamin Metzler of Oregon, Kristin Schueler of
  Germany, and Kacee and Kameron Cozart of Ohio.  Brother of Madeline
  Shaffer of Johnstown, Lorraine Spangler of Fredericksburg, Richard
  Meyers of Somerset, and Durelles Jock of Stoystown.  World War II
  Army veteran.  Retired from New Enterprise Stone and Lime.  Member of
  St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset, and St. Michael American Legion
  Post 551.  Former member of the former Forbes School Board.  Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown where Vigil for the deceased will be held at
  3:45 p.m. Thursday.  Funeral Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at
  St. Peter's Catholic Church, Somerset.  Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli
  officiating.  Committal Somerset County Memorial Park.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to St. Peter's Catholic School, or
  Somerset "In Touch" Hospice.
