  AUSTIN MICHAEL
  
    Austin Laine Michael, 86, of Rt. 1, Miller Rd., Barton, Md., died
  Friday, Sept. 3, 1993 at his residence.
    Born June 30, 1907 at Barton, he was a son of the late Peter F. and
  Elizabeth (Broadwater) Michael.  He was preceded in death by his wife,
  Evelyn F. Broadwater Michael on March 15, 1990.
    Mr. Michael was a member of Barton United Methodist Church, past
  master of Alegany Lodge #157 A.F. & A.M., Barton, and past patron of
  Bethlehem Chap. #14 Order of the Eastern Star, Westernport, Md. 
  Michael was a retired rural mail carrier and farmer.
    Survivors include a daughter, Juanita F. Beachy, Grantsville; two
  brothers, Delbert Michael, Cresaptown, Md. and Edwin Michael, Barton;
  four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-grandson.
    Friends were received Saturday at Boal-Warnick Memorial Chapel,
  Barton, where services were conducted Sunday with the Rev. Harold
  Malone officiating.  Interment, Grantsville Cemetery.
