  MINNIE MICHAELS
  
    Mrs. Minnie Ellen Michaels, 86, of Somerset, died May 5, 1977, in
  Berlin.  She was born October 25, 1890, in Confluence.  She was a
  daughter of Thomas and Mary Jane (Thomas) Brown.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, James C., one daughter,
  and four sisters.
    She is survived by these children: Mrs. Freda Kiefer, Confluence;
  David T. Michaels, Meyersdale RD 4; Benjamin, Alantic Highlands,
  N.J.; Mrs. Ashton (Mary Jane) King, Friedens RD 1; ten grandchildren
  and 19 great-grandchildren, sister of Benjamin Brown, Canton, Ohio;
  Mrs. Katherine Be-Dard, Santa Cruz, Cal.
    She was a member of St. Paul Presbyterian Church.
    Funeral service were held Sunday at Richard E. Hauger Funeral Home
  with Rev. Carl Haul officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.
