    Carrie Ann Michels, 61, Somerset, died July 29, 2006, Memorial Medical Center,
  Johnstown. Born June 10, 1945, in Quecreek, daughter of the late Clyde and Carrie (Lohr)
  Tunstall. Survived by her loving husband, Robert to whom she was married for 40 wonderful
  years; sister, Mrs. John (Pearl) Oakes, Stoystown; nieces and nephews, Matthew Oakes, John
  Oakes Jr., Rodger Oakes, Melody Zarefoss and Dawn Landis; also great-nieces and nephews;
  brothers and sisters-in-law, Bruce and Wilma Adler, Walter and Karen Michels and Linda
  and Tommy Watkins. Member of Jesus Christ Apostolic Church. Was a self-employed
  caregiver. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at
  the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, Somerset, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service
  at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Jesus Christ Apostolic Church. Bishop Irving J. Knieriem
  officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. Contributions may be made to the
  American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, PA 15501, or Jesus Christ Apostolic
  Church, 119 Forward Blvd., Somerset, PA 15501.
