Born Dec. 5, 1930, in Listie. Daughter of the late William and Florence (Dayton) Tirko. Resident of High Point since 1978. Was employed in the Wash-a-Rama Inc., High Point. Member of English Road Baptist Church, High Point; Willing Workers Bible class and was a former Sunday school teacher in the children's department. She was married Feb. 10, 1950, to Harry Ivan Mickey, who survives with these children: one daughter, Bonnie Gay Quinn, Berlin, and one son, Vernon Harry Mickey, Friedens; three grandchildren, and these brothers and sisters: Mary Bell, Ann Shaffer, Mildred Landsman, Elizabeth Derenein, Shirley Drake and Ella Mae Rubis, all of Somerset; Julia Sellers, Central City; Sally Reese, New Centerville; John Tirko, Pulaski, Va., and Joseph Tirko, Friedens. Funeral service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday in Cumby Funeral Home, High Point. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Rev. Ralph E. Mills officiating. Interment, Casebeer Cemetery.
