He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irva Ashby Mickey; his mother, Mrs. Harry S. Mickey of Lock Lynn, Md., and five children, Miss Virginia Mickey, Baltimore, Md., Norma, Shirley, Donald and Edgar, at home, and by an aunt, Mrs. A. C. Taylor, Morgantown, W.Va. Mr. and Mrs. Mickey were residents of Crellin, Md., before moving to the family's present residence near Grantsville about six years ago. Mr. Mickey was a member of Woodman of the World Camp No. 11 of Crellin, and of Moose Lodge. Funeral services were held at the Winterberg Funeral Home Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. D. J. Combs, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment in the Grantsville Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, May 26, 1949
