Born Aug. 25, 1916 in Reading Mines, a daughter of the late Andrew and Julia (Gaydos) Puskas. Preceded in death by a brother, John. She is survived by her husband, John Joseph; and a son, John David, married to the former Theresa Jane Arnold, Somerset RD 7. A sister of: Elizabeth Bertha and Julia Pollock, both of Pittsburgh; Anne Scavuzzo, Mebane, N.C.; Helen Hill, Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and Andrew Jr., Vienna, Va. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Her death terminates a marriage union of 51 years. She was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church of Acosta. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where wake service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Somerset, with the Rev. Leonard Imnan officiating. Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Children's Aid Home Auxiliary. Daily American, July 5, 1988 [M1350]
