Born in Ralphton, the daughter of William and Mary (Kogut) Lucas. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Tony; sisters, Anna and Frances; and brothers John and Stanley. Survived by children, Carol (Tom) Galayda, Julie (Percy) Bollman, Tony (Pamela), Christine (Gary) Sadlon, Bill (Kay), Gloria (Mark) Pollock and Edward (Jeanne); grandchildren B.J., Erica, Kristie, Renae, Brooke, Toni, Kristen, Ashley, Ben, Hilary, Lucas, Justin, Katie and Marcus. Sister of Mary Guydo. Also survived by sisters and brother-in-law, Jenny Novak, sister Christine Marie, Margaret Adomnik, Joe and Dolly Mihelcic, Nellie Mihelcic, Mary Mihelcic, special godson Edward Gogol and very special caregivers Donna, Marge, Maxine and Monica. Julia was retired from Dorfman and Hoffman Co. and a member of the society of Angels. Friends were received 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Mulcahy Funeral Home, where the rosary was prayed at 6 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church. The Rev. Father Joseph Maurizio. Committal St. John The Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers friends who wish may make donations to the Parish Building Fund or Regional Hospice at Windber in Julia's memory.
