Born Jan. 16, 1923, in Griffie, (Jenner Township), he is the son of the late Charles and Mary Mikolich. Also preceded in death by his wife, Muriel (Carlough) Mikolich; brothers: Frank, Charles and Joseph Mikolich and sisters: Agnes Wolpart, Anna Urbas, Josephine Bovona and Frances Higgins. Survived by children: George Morrison of Tarpon Springs, Fla., Joyce Brant of Meyersdale, Anthony Mikolich of Medford, N.Y. and Paul Mikolich of Lindenhurst, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Brother of: Alice Zilch and John Mikolich, both of Johnstown, Julia Sapienza of Somerset and Martin Mikolich of Corning, Calif. Veteran of World War II, member of VFW, 50-year member of the Laborers International Union, Local 79 of N.Y. Friends received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home.
