Mikula, 63, 242 Grape Ave., died Aug. 17, 1982, at Mercy Hospital. She was born Jan. 23, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Veronica (Varmecky) Korchnak. She was preceded in death by parents, and husband, John F. She is survived by these children: Eileen, wife of Gary H. Singel, Friedens; Timothy, married to former Diane Sipple, Meyersdale; Stephanie, Terrance; Sandra, wife of John Hunsinger, all of Johnstown; also four grandchildren. She was the sister of Mrs. Mary Wisz, Johnstown. She was employed by Counter Management, Inc., with Greater Johnstown School District. She was a member of Post 954, CWV auxiliary; Court of Our Lady 647, CD of A; West End Democrats; West End Federated Democratic Women's Club; Local 881, Women of the Moose; Chandler School Mother's Club; Cambria City Community Association; Senior Citizens; Lodge 5, First Catholic Slovak Ladies' Association; Lodge 677, St. Francis Society; and St. Stephen's Ladies Guild; also St. Rochus' Catholic Church, where Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, the Rev.
