(Saylor) Miley, 79, 25 William Penn Dr., Chambersburg, formerly of Berlin, died Dec. 17, 1987, at Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. Born Jan. 7, 1908, in Berlin, daughter of the late Henry Frank and Sadie (Shaffer) Ball. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Chambersburg, AARP, and the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW. Preceded in death by two husbands, Edward G. Saylor, 1966, and Crawford A. H. Miley, 1983. Survived by two daughters and two sons: Dorothy Custer, Mechanicsburg; Helen Gecht, Chambersburg; Carl Edward Saylor, Lancaster, Calif.; Kenneth E. Saylor, Manassas, Va.; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; also six step-children and a number of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: Richard Ball, Flagstaff, Ariz.; Evelyn Ball, Pittsburgh; Gertrude Will, Ft. Collins, Colo.; and Vera E. Ball, Berlin. Services 8 p.m. Friday at the Park-Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with visitation one hour prior to service. Graveside service 1 p.m. Saturday at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Berlin, the Rev. Melvin Kirk officiating.
