Miller, 71, of Hyndman, died from a heart attack Tuesday, March 4, 1941. Dr. Miller was born in Somerset County, a son of Joseph and Mary (Mousser) Miller. He had practiced medicine in Hyndman for 38 years. Prior to that he was a practicing dentist for several years. He was a graduate of the University of Maryland and Baltimore Medical College. In addition to his widow, Mrs. Agnes (Wolford) Miller, he is survived by three sons - William and Samuel Miller, Los Angeles, Cal., and Frank Miller, Long Island, N.Y. The deceased was a brother of Robert Miller, Hyndman; Albert Miller, Garrett; William Miller, Shanksville; John Miller, State of Ohio; Mrs. Emma Lindemann, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Norma Trent, Friedens, and Mrs. Phoebe Clapper and Mrs. Nellie Warner, Garrett. Dr. Miller was a member of the Hyndman Masonic Lodge and of Jaffa Temple, Altoona. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, by the Rev. John Lloyd of Ellerslie, Md. Interment in the Hyndman Cemetery. Meyersdale Republican, March 13, 1941
