Mr. Miller had not been in good health the last few months, but his sudden death was a shock to his many friends. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Alvin Carver, of Brothersvalley Township, and Mrs. Freeman Poorbaugh, of Berlin, also by two brothers and a sister - Henry Miller, of Berlin, and Harvey Miller and Mrs. Charles Deeter, both of Allegheny Township. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church and was an elder in the church at the time of his death. The body was prepared for burial by J. N. Johnson & Son of Berlin. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 17th, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Berlin, Rev. Slonaker, of Indiana, and Rev. C. P. Bastian, of Berlin, officiated. Interment was made in the I.O.O.F.
