Miller, died May 24, in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital. He suffered a heart attack about a week ago which resulted in his death shortly after Sunday midnight. He was the son of the late Simon S. Miller and Mrs. Lydia Beachy Miller of Springs. His age was 58 years, 9 months and 5 days. A short funeral service was held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 at the home of Miss Kate Olinger and Mrs. Mary O. Cook, the Olinger homestead on Broadway, where he had lived for the past 35 years. The Rev. Loren Bowman of the Church of the Brethren officiated, assisted by the Rev. Roy Otto of Springs. Burial was made in the Springs cemetery, following which another service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Otto in the Springs Mennonite Church, of which Mr. Miller was a member. He is survived by his mother, who lives in the Simon Miller family home in Springs; by two brothers, Claude of Johnstown, and Ernest of Springs, and by two sisters, Mrs. Olin Bender of Springs, and Mrs. Mark Bender of Salisbury.
