  Alverda C. Miller, 81, 417 Walnut St., Berlin, died March 29, 1986,
  in Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born Dec. 20, 1904, in Somerset
  County, daughter of Charles J. and Ella (Martz) Schrock.  Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, J. Irvin, who died Feb. 22, 1986; sister,
  Annie; and brothers, Robert H. Schrock, William C. Schrock and Walter
  H. Schrock.  Survived by these children:  Mrs. Joseph (Marian) Dyer,
  Fairhope and Wilmington, Del.; Robert I. Sr. and Harry E., both of
  Wilmington, Del.; and Don A., Pittsburgh; also nine grandchildren and
  seven great-grandchildren.  Sister of Marian E. Ingle, Richmond, Va. 
  Member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and Berlin American Legion
  Auxiliary.  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Monday (today) at
  Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Tuesday, the Rev. Kenneth S. Swanson officiating.  Interment, Berlin
  I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
