Miller, 76 of Sarver, formerly of Glencoe, died June 23, 2008 at Life Care Hospital in Wilkinsburg. She was born June 2, 1932 in Greenville Twp., daughter of Marling and Alice (Geiger) Shockey. Preceded in death by her parents and her husband Karl B. Miller. She is survived by her children: Darlene Duffy married to Robert, Bridgeville; and Michele Kerr married to Russell, Butler; grandchildren: Shawn and Brendan Duffy; Patrick and Maggie Kerr. The sister of Paul R. Shockey, Oakland, MD; and Carole Shockey- Thomassy, Greensburg. She was a 1950 graduate of Meyersdale High School. She worked as a secretary for the Meyersdale and Dormont School Districts. She also worked as the secretary to the Superintendent for the Berlin Brothersvalley School District. She was a Home Interiors displayer for 20 years. She was a member of New Hope United Church of Christ. She enjoyed crocheting, making peanut brittle, and spending time with her grandchildren. Family received friends at the Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin where a service was held with the Rev. Charles Dunn and Rev. Ralph Landis officiating. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
