  CALVIN R. MILLER
  
    Calvin R. Miller, 75, Rockwood, died July 30 in Somerset Community
  Hospital.
    Born January 6, 1891, in Lavansville, he was a son of the late
  Joseph B. and Mary (Canose) Miller.
    He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie (Berkey) Miller, Rockwood; a
  son, James C. Miller, Rockwood; two step-sons, Eugene C. Benford,
  Rockwood; Dale R. Cramer, New Centerville; a brother, Lloyd M. Miller
  Bakersville; a sister, Mrs. Edith Goe, Glenside, Pa.; nine
  grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nora (Stoner) Miller in
  1949.
    Mr. Miller was a retired Rockwood fireman, past president of
  Somerset County Firemen's Association, past president and treasurer
  of the 9th district Sunday School Association, past president of
  Rockwood firemen and was a businessman in Rockwood for 37 years.
    Service was held Aug. 3 at the William J. Wood Funeral Home,
  Rockwood, with O. C. Walker officiating.  Interment was in the
  Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.
