CARRIE SMITH MILLER

  Carrie Smith Miller passed away Monday evening, Sept. 2, at 8:45 o'clock, at 
her home in Sand Patch, R.D. 1, at the age of 73 years and one month.
  A brief service was held at her home at 1:30 this (Thursday) afternoon.  A 
continued service was held at the Reformed Church in Hyndman at 2:30.  Rev. J. 
E. Gindlesperger was officiating minister assisted by Rev. G. R. Winters, pastor 
of the Hyndman Reformed Church.  Interment followed in the Hyndman Cemetery with 
H. R. Konhaus, local mortician, in charge.
  The deceased is survived by these children: Mrs. Stella Shibna, Sand Patch, 
R.D.; Mrs. Pearl Sela, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Ruth Troutman, at home, Miss Mary 
Elizabeth Miller, Cleveland, Ohio and J. A. Miller, Freemont, Ohio.  Other 
survivors are seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. 
Anna Baker and Mrs. Mayme Cozard, both of Cumberland, Md., and two brothers, 
Clinton Smith, of Cumberland, and William Smith, of Hyndman.
